Fountains Abbey Wedding Photography-Wedding Photographer-Emma & Jason’s Wedding Photography-Harrogate Wedding Photographer-Emma & Jason’s Fountains Abbey Wedding
Blue skies, ancient abbey ruins and a gorgeous water garden, Served as the backdrop for the first day of Emma and Jason Allots exiting new life together as husband and wife. The location and date set the setting perfectly for this candid, intimate celebration of the couple’s affection.
Emma & Jason are doting companions and had dated for quite a while before choosing to tie the knot. When putting their perfect day together Emma and Jason wanted something unforgettable that they could share with their nearest and dearest. What they got surpassed their wildest expectations.
Not a single cloud crashed this wedding, as the weather turned in a flawless day. The sun Came out in full force and glowed consistently on the ancient stone of the breath-taking Fountains Abbey, a historical corner stone in Ripon, North Yorkshire. As a Rippon/Harrogate based wedding photographer, what a pleasure it was to have somewhere so steeped in heritage as our location. Not to mention the stunning Studley Royal Water garden situation on the grounds.
We had our lenses primed and ready to capture all the experiences and emotions of Emma & Jason’s special day. From Emma and Dad being chauffeured to the isle, to the cutting of the cake and the first dance. The love really comes off in every frame.
Photographing at Fountains Abbey was an amazing opportunity for us to work with such an incredible location, and one we didn’t let go to waste. Everything, is nestled in lush sprawling countryside. From the ancient ruins of the cellarium, to the underground gothic archways of the old food store, to the tranquil moon ponds of the Studley Royal Water Garden. It’s fair to say we were offered a wide range of back drops and moods to play with. In addition to hosting weddings, Fountains Abbey offers tours, craft workshops and boutique dinning and shopping experiences.
The ceremony itself was a sincere, tranquil affair which thanks to the dedication and organisation of both events management and staff went off without a hitch and lead effortlessly into the reception which had an incredibly touching first dance from Emma and Jason, I think I would be right in saying that everyone was feeling a bit emotional at that point.
Emma and Jason could not have picked a more tasteful occasion for their big day, one I know looking through photo albums in years to come they’ll have a good chuckle and cuddle reminiscing their big day. Congratulations Emma and Jason, we wish you all the best.
